5Breadmaking Essential Tool
By P. W. Dodds
When the measuring spoon which came with your breadmaker is lost, or is chewed by the dog, (as mine was) using a conventional tablespoon (the big end) or teaspoon (the small end) doesn't in my view give consistently reliable results. Fortunately, it seems most Breadmaker manufacturers use the same design, and for the little it costs, is the best tool for measuring quamtities for consistent quality home made bread. If you make a lot of bread, I recommend buying a spare - especially if you have a dog like mine!
