Now I can also make super light cakes! A fab mixer, very easy to use;only used the K Beater attachment so far but results have been great! Bought the peppercorn colour which looks very smart on the worktop; extremely sturdy, am amazed at how quickly it beats the mixture; must be the 500w motor - a little bit noisy but as it mixes so quickly its not really an issue.Definite value for money. Really pleased with purchase :-)

Bought this Kmix in January 2011. So far really pleased with it's functionality, style and price. About 150 euro cheaper than I could find here in Ireland. However, after about 5 uses of the K beater, I noticed the coating had started to come off the edge. And no I hadn't put it in the dishwasher. Bit concerned that the coating was going into my buns, so I contacted the Kenwood customer service team. They were brilliant and sent out a replacement K beater within about three days. Given I live in Southern Ireland, I thought that was very prompt. No other problems apart from it won't do small amounts. Mix gets stuck on the bottom of the bowl. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in cooking. Takes the hard word out of beating and mixing, Have made bread a few times too with very good comparable results to doing it by hand. Happy Mixing, folks!

Decisions, Decisions! Which one should I choose the KitchenAid or the Kenwood KMIX? I am so pleased that I chose the KMIX. This is a seriously good looking machine, and is a lot quieter than I thought it would be.In my opinion the Kenwood KMiX is the cat's whisker and cat's pyjamas rolled into one, it really has the WOW factor for me!! I'm so impressed! My cakes are light and fluffy and taste oh soooo good ' ; I will have to watch my waistline with this one!!
