Despite the cost, it is well worth it as the bread now comes out of the pan cleanly leaving only a small hole.

I have had a Panasonic bread maker for years (a superb product, by the way) but the kneading blade was heavily scratched leading to on occasion large holes in the base of the loaf. I considered buying a new breadmaker, but decided to try this (expensive) replacement accessory. The machine is now working perfectly, so although ridiculously expensive, still reasonable value at c. 20% of the cost of a new machine. I'll try and keep this one from becoming scratched!

I have been enjoying home baked loaves from the old faithful Panasonic breadmaker for years - only drawback being the big hole left after removing the kneading blade.Hey presto, now the loaf leaps out of the tin with only the slightest impression remaining.I can't remember the loaves being this good when the machine was new. Probably I damaged the non stick surface of the blade early on so now I promise to be very careful when handling it.
