I am joining the queue that thinks Panasonic spares, (They are not alone) are so ridiculously overpriced that it is cheaper to buy a new machine than bother to repair. I have had a 251 breadmaker for 10years with very good results but it now just needs a new pan and kneader. Nothing else is wrong(so far) but Panasonic's cost of over £72.00 just for the pan is criminal. You then also need, the kneader, the drive coupling and assembly time,so you are now approaching nearly £100.00. A crazy price.... so an otherwise ok machine scrapped and another one bought... and we are suppose to be saving our planets resources! When will all this madness stop.

If you have to replace your Panasonic breadpan - this is the simplest way to do it. There are other options which appear slightly cheaper, but you will find yourself having to take apart your old pan to reuse the base section, and you will have to pay extra to get a new paddle if you need one. This kit provides a complete ready-assembled breadpan and a new paddle - worth a few pounds extra for a painless renewal.

The non-stick coating on my old breadmaker was failing so it was becoming difficult to retrieve the cooked loaf. This kit has made my breadmaker as new again. Very pleased!
