I bought this in July (when it was only £50) after my old Morphy Richards breadmaker, which I had had for quite a few years, gave up mid-loaf. This new machine is a different shape and design but has similar programmes and identical recipes. The baking pan and paddle from the old one are compatible so I now have a spare. In fact I have been using the old set because the paddle is a tight fit on the spindle and therefore does not stay in the loaf. It still leaves a hole of course but this a common but minor issue with home breadmakers.As with the old one, I have found that the quantities of ingredients are not as critical as the instructions suggest and allow for a bit of experimentation. So far I have had perfect results. One improvement is the greater choice of crustiness settings.The aroma when baking is wonderful. Overall I am happy with my purchase

Thought long and hard about purchasing a bread maker, finally settled on this one. Brought it home,followed the instructions for pre cooking preparation, made my first loaf. On opening the lid to remove the freshly baked loaf, the right hand side hinge pin of the lid broke off, necessitating the return of the product for a refund. To be fair though, the loaf tasted delightful. I wouldn't recommend this appliance for the obvious weak point of the lid hinge, just a small stub of plastic..Morphy Richards 48326 Manual Breadmaker, White

Replaced a similar failed older Morphy Richards model after many years of service. Improved capacity with this one and if it lasts as long it will be an excellent purchase for what is a budget priced bread maker.Only downside to date is that the measuring cups are not as easy to see the graduations.
